Who I am
I am a Fairfield County professional, who works in female equity and empowerment. My undergraduate coursework focused on Women’s Studies, History, and Human Rights. I pursued a law degree to advocate for women and children. After working in private practice for over a decade and raising 2 toddler boys, I have returned to my roots of history and female empowerment. I spent over a year researching and writing about the historical and sociological roots behind the issues girls struggle with today. Educational consulting offers the opportunity to engage girls directly and offer strategies for the issues they struggle with most, namely confidence in the classroom, body consciousness, and self-esteem (mental health).
Fun facts:
My name is a hybrid of my grandmothers’ names and is pronounced Sue-la-free-da.
My Greek heritage helped fuel my passion for human rights.
I became a published writer at 15 years old.
